The First Faerie Solitaire
Originally released on March 15th, 2009, Faerie Solitaire was our first major game release and the first solitaire game we published. Since then it has gone on to be played by millions of people around the world. It has its own Team Fortress 2 item, has been in the Humble Bundle, was one of the first games to get Steam Trading Cards, Orson Scott Card wrote a review for it ( "Faerie Solitaire is an excellent take on an old card game. It runs smoothly, the difficulty ramps up nice and gradually, and it's addictive enough to keep you coming back for more." ), and was featured on the Australian television gaming programme Good Game.
Faerie Solitaire was not made by one person. The original team was Brian Kramer, Andrew Sum, Jessica Lindsay, Jeff Tolbert, Tim Scheiman, Jeffrey McIlvain, Jeff Blancato, Meredith Binder (plus more, many people helped even in small ways). Back then Matthew Kramer helped to extensively play test the game and give feedback, now he works on the mainline FS games as a lead programmer and game designer. Our new games are not made by one person either, we try to always include extensive about screens in our games listing all of the people who made our games possible and make our future games possible too. Maybe you will one day help to make a future FS game!
You can get Faerie Solitaire Classic on Steam. When you buy either Faerie Solitiare Classic or Faerie Solitaire Remastered you get the other one added to your Steam account too for the single price.
